Our challenge today was to make a thankyou card using an OWH sketch. I chose sketch #158.

I also couldn't resist making a few other clean and simple cards.

The cardstock is from Bazil and the ribbon is from May Arts and the stickers are from Wal-mart. I picked them up a few years ago.
Here's the other 2 I made for today. One more patriotic card and one just for any day.
I used a Hero Arts sentiment and Star Swirl embossing folder for the above card.
For this card, I used a previous technique posted at an OWH Blogskip. I added a sentiment from JustRite, some faux stitching and a few gems.
Thanks for visiting and enjoy the rest of the hop! Let me know which is your fav!
Don't forget, if you are a follower or become a follower of my blog and leave a comment below letting me know what's your favorite card or part of a card I've posted then you'll be entered to win this wonderful set of Spectrum Noir markers.
I'll pick someone using Random.org on Thursday. I'll post the winner on the top of this post and on my Thursday posting as well. I hope you vist again to see my Card Making Monday, Using My Tools Thursday and Scrapbook Saturday postings.
I'm off to check out all the other great cards!

Love the stars on your first cards and the paper piecing on that last one - wooo, you did good. :)
My fave is the last one. I LOVE the color scheme & the thin borders, plus your technique is PERFECT! great job & thanks for blogging for OWH! I'd love to win the markers & have become a follower!

Thanks Kara!
Thanks so much!
Thanks a bunch!
Great cards Amelia! I love the blue and brown combo though...so that is my favorite. Nice work.
Wonderful cards - the patriotic cards are great (I especially like the stars on each). Your last card is FABULOUS - I saw that technique but hadn't tried it yet, thanks for reminding me.
Great ribbon and use of patriotic cards.
Your faux stitching looks real! Love the color blocks on the last cards. I need to look up that technique!
The first card has such beautiful and coordinating elements, the stars, the ribbon, the embossing. Very nice!
Great cards! I especially love the way you put the inchies together in the final card! I'm going to have to CASE that! Plus, I really like that sentiment on the inchie; I'm often stymied by the smaller sentiments.
All three are cute but I think that third one is my favorite - I love the faux stitching! Happy WCMD!
Love the embossing and the colors of the first card. All are beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Love the teal and brown colors on the last card, and the stitching finishes it off perfectly!
Great thank you cards. My favorite is the first one. I like the ribbon, stars and embossed background.

Thanks so much Lori! I think its a consensus. The last card is the favorite! lol!
Thanks Andrea. For some reason I struggled this blog hop with the mojo for my cards. I appreciate the encouragement.
Thanks for commenting JoAnn! Yes, me too! When I first started card making I thought why do people need these itsy bitsy stamps?! So, I'm always looking for ways to use them. Actually, I think now I have the hardest time with the big ones because there's no room for lots of layered patterned paper. The stamp becomes the focal point and I want to embellish it up. lol
Hi Julie! Thnaks for commenting and happy WCMD to you too!
Thanks so much Teresa! I wanted to make a patriotic themed card this time since with my last OWH bloghop I used lots of Copics. Wanted to mix things up a bit. Have a great day!

Amelia…. Love all the cards you made! Hard to pick a favorite but I am going to pick the first one. Love the layout and embossed stars.
You asked how I did the inlay leaves. Well, I just die-cut the main page then die-cut the same leave from printed paper and placed it in the negatives space of the first one. Does that make sense to you… Its really super easy!
Love the subtleness of the embossing folder on the navy, great touch! Following on Feedly :)
All classic!
Hi Abbie Jo! What's Feedly?
Thanks a bunch Camille for your comments!
Thanks Marybeth. I don't have any dies yet so I use my Cricut. I'll have to get creative with that and see what I can come up with... Hazzah, a challenge!
Awesome cards!! I love the last one, I really like the browns and blues! I also love the patriotic ones. Since I have everything for your second card, I think it would be a great card to CASE!
As your newest follower I like the first card for the embossing folder and that great bi-color pinwheel star and the third for the color combo and the perfect technique! Thanks for the chance at the Spectrum Noirs and even more for your support of OWH!

Great cards and wonderful colors that you used on all of them. My favorite card is the blue and brown one with the quilt effect on it.
I'm torn between the first and last cards as favorites. Great job on all three! Thanks for sharing!
Great cards Amy. Love the faux stitching on the last one. Thanks for supporting OWH.
