Butterfly Flying Easel Card

Hello and welcome to All Things Beautiful!
I am so glad you are vising today.
Today I am showcasing a Flying Easel card.

This is my first attempt at making one of these types of cards. If you'd like to try this technique you can find the tutorial I used under my tutorial tab here.

I'm still keeping up with my 2018 crafting resolution of making matching envelopes, card fronts and card inside panels. So glad I have. I really like the way this card and envelope set turned out.

For the butterfly I cut the image from my Cricut. You can see all the supplies I used listed below. I then heat embossed the butterfly several times to give it a faux metal look and give it some weight to hang in the window area.

I added additional butterfly punch outs and some bling for balance and interest.

Here is the inside card panel. I punched the butterfly from some scrap card stock and used it as a stencil.

Products:
Gina K Designs Tomato Soup, Prickly Pear, Sweet Corn & Kraft ink

Studio G Clear gems
Wink a Stella glitter pen

I hope you try this Flying Easel card for yourself. It is a fun and easy card to complete.

Have a wonderful day!

Red Themed Pocket Letter

Hi There. Happy Wednesday!
So glad you stopped by and hope you've been well.
This is a pocket Letter I made for a swap on Pocket Letter pals.
The theme was red.

I used lots of my small punches for embellishments
and yuou'll see below some of the interactive elements of the pocket letter.

I made this little folder by cutting a square of paper and then scoring it and trimming the inside of the pockets at an angle.

Have a wonderful day!

Watermelon Suspended Spinner card

Hello and welcome to All Things Beautiful!
Today I am showcasing a Peek-A-Boo Shutter card.

This is my first attempt at making one of these types of cards. If you'd like to try this technique you can find the tutorial I used under my tutorial tab here.

So for this card i made the watermelon way to big to spin. Lesson learned....n\make the spinner element small enough to make the full rotation however, I liked the look of this card so much I figured I'd just leave it suspended without the spin.

I them added coordinating elements inside the card and coordinated the envelope.

Products:
Gina K Designs Cherry Red card stock & ink
Gina K Designs Jellybean Green & Black Onyx ink
My Minds Eye Remarkable 6 x 6 paper stack
Memory Box Stitched Rectangle dies
Cricut watermelon cut out from the Doodlepop cartridge cut at 2 1/4 inches
Catherine Pooler Rockin Red ink
Stampin' Up All About Everything stamp set

If you give this suspended spinner technique a try leave a comment below letting me know. I'd love to see a picture of your card creation!

I hope you have a great weekend!

Watercolor Cards

Welcome to today's card post! I am so glad you stopped by
I hope you are enjoying the winter weather and staying warm.

I don't make too many watercolor cards but I got this new stamp set from Simon Says Stamp with lots of circles and I thought it might be fun to make some abstract art on my card using watercolors and the stamp set.

I am a very A type personality ans usually my abstract is very planned but today I let the watercoloe paint take control.

I made 2 panels using different colors

Have a fabulous day!
