Birthday Bash with Banners

Howdy! Thank you for visiting and browsing my blog! I made a rather simple birthday card this week to fit some blog challenges I've stumbled across recently. I don't typically use purple in my cards but I really liked the polka dot pattern in this paper thus my inspiration.
I used this Freshly Made sketch for a guide and turned it on its side.
I used a few Recollections brads, $ store sentiment stamp, some ribbon from Michaels and a Martha Stewart punch around the page-Double Loops

Thank you so much for visting. Please leave a comment letting me know what's your favorite part of this card. Your comments help direct my inspiration for future projects. Also please consider following my blog and if you do, let me know in the comment section of this post and leave your blog address. I'll send you a shout out and link your blog on my Feature Friday post.

Blessings and now it's your turn to make something beautiful!

I don't use a lot of purple either and that's crazy because it's my favorite color. lol Love that polka dot paper and the scallop border. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.

A lovely, happy card, Amelia. I also rarely use purple, but I love that dotty paper too.

Thanks for joining in the fun at Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge, and good luck in the draw.
