Tri-fold Window card - Sending you hope

Good Morning! I hope your week is going well.

Thank you for visiting. Today I have a Surprise Window card or sometimes it is called a Tri-fold Window card - fun fold card for you. If you'd like to see a video tutorial on this technique you can find the one I followed to make this card under my tutorial tab.

I have 2 different tutorials for you to follow. Each is slightly different but both a great tutorials!

I thought I would use a tone on tone stamping technique for the background of the blue cardstock and colored pencils for the image inside the in window.

I like that this card style offers a place for a stamped image and then plenty of space for a handwritten message with the blank panel.

I hope you give this card a try. It's something different but doesn't require any special supplies.

Happy Crafting!

Using My Scraps - Happy Hello

Good Morning! I hope you are well.

Thank you for visiting.

I have been trying to use more of my 6 x 6 paper pads.  With that goal in mind I began looking for various panel dies where I could use my scraps and create a nice card front panel. There are so many companies online that offer panel dies with different cut - out and shapes. I like that the work is done for me; I just have to choose the papers.

Today I kept this card simple and used lots of layers a sentiment panel from a card kit.

Circle Scraps

Good Morning! I hope your week is going well and thank you for visiting.

Today's card features the use of using my scrap and circle punches and dies.

I took a little bit of time to lay out the varying size of circles into a pleasing configuration on the card front before I adhered them down. Once I glued them, I then added the sequins.

I hope you give this type of card design a try!

Using Paper Strips and die cuts

Hello and welcome to All Things Beautiful!

I am dove into my paper scraps today and pulled out some paper strips.

I love how using paper strips and a panel die can make for an interesting patterned paper look and background for die cuts.

For this card I thought i would group the embellishments together in a collage fashion. Letting each element tough to help anchor each other. I also enjoy being able to use up some of my small cardstock scraps to make new embellishments. Here the flowers are made with white, cream, green and teal papers.

I hope you grab some of your patterned and cardstock paper scraps to create a beautiful card today!

Happy crafting!

Hey there friends! Welcome to All Things Beautiful!

I hope your day is going well and you are finding some time to be creative.

Today's card is a Corner Tuck Fun Fold card; you can find a tutorial for making this style card under my tutorial tab.

This is a variation on the Joy fold card. These fun fold cards are nice to add some variety to your card making.  I used colored pencils to color in my stamped image.

They also are an opportunity to use some of those smaller scraps in your paper stash.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend and happy crafting!

Using Embossing folders and Layers - Hello

Good Morning! Happy Friday!

I hope your week went well and your looking forward to a weekend of crafting time

I decided to make a card today using my 2025 goal of busting through my paper kits. This paper is from from an Echo Park kit and I used one of the embellishment cards as the focal point.

I decided to add some texture and interest by using an embossing folder on the plain white cardstock and then layering the variety of patterned papers.

I had a few flowers left over from other projects and added them as embellishments to provide some balance..

I hope you an inspired to go through your paper kits and use this laying technique to create a card of your own.

Happy crafting!
