Embossing Folders - Sending Love

Good Morning! Happy Friday! I hope your week is going well.

Thank you for stopping by.

Today I wanted to make a quick encouragement card but still wanted the card to have some detail.

To add detail I used a 3D embossing folder, layered a few die cut panels to give the image some dimension. And then added a small stitched circle to hold a simple sentiment.

I chose to stamp the image in black and white because I wanted the nice texture of the embossed panel to shine.

Using My Die Sets - Santa

For 2025 I wanted to go through my craft  stash and use some die sets that I was so excited to purchase but then never actually crafted with. In looking through my supplies I found this little guy.

He was so simple to out together. The die set is to make a gift card holder where the pull the Santa hat and the face lifts up ti show a gift card but in this case I wanted to use him as a card front.

I hope you take some time to rediscover the supplies ion your stash too.

Using your Scraps - Window Box

Hello and Thank you for stopping by.

I have been trying to use more of the die sets I don't typically grab in my stash.
Today I kept this card simple and used lots of layers.

I started this card with using some scraps from my stash and used a die set from Jaded blossom for the background panel.

This window die is an older one from Stampin Up but window dies are so popular now and so many companies online sell some sort of window die or you could use some rectangle and square dies in your stash to create this window shape.

I then added some stamps and die cut plants to complete this card for any occasion.

Using My Scraps - Clean and Simple Heart

Good Morning! I hope you are well.

Thank you for visiting.

I have been trying to use more of my 6 x 6 paper pads. Today I kept this card simple and used lots of layers.

I started this card with embossing a piece of white cardstock to give the background some texture.

I glued some patterned paper strips to a piece of copy paper then took a Master Layout die set from Gina K Designs and cut out the stripped paper with a heart die and layered it with a piece of black cardstock. Added some layer flowers for added interest.

This card can be used for any occasion or no occasion at all.

Shaped cards - Rainbow for you

Hello friends! Thank you for stopping by to see my latest card post.

Today's cuter card is made from a shaped card die set by Honey Bee.

I added the sun an clouds that came with the set and thought it might be fun to stamp the sentiment on the cloud. If you like paper piecing this card is for you. Because I had to cut out several rainbows for each of the colors I ended up with 5 completed cards in total.

Using my Scraps - Smile

Good Morning! Happy Friday! I hope your week is going well.

Thank you for stopping by.

Today I have another card made using my scraps from an Echo Park kit

The tagged background is a rectangle journaling card that I used a tag die to help me cut out that shape. I then took some small scraps and my punches and cut out some hearts and banners. I added glossy accents to the hearts to give the embellishment some dimension and shine. The sentiment panel comes from the ephemera pack in the kit.

Keeping it Simple - Layered Elements

Hello Crafty friends! Thank you for stopping by to see my latest card post.

Keeping my card simple today. I purchased the wheel barrel die from Spellbinders and just wanted to add it to a background. Clean and simple design.

It took some time to cut out all the elements from scraps of cardstock in my stash but it feels good to use all those little pieces of cardstock that would otherwise sit in the drawer.

I may ad a sentiment at a later date. Perhaps a Thanksgiving sentiment or a birthday wish for a fall birthday might be nice. What sentiment do you think I should add?

Have a great day and happy crafting!

Pop Up and Pull Out card - Autumn Elements

Hey There! Welcome to All Things Beautiful!

I hope your day is going well and you are finding some time to be creative.

Today's card is called a Pop-Up and Pull Out card.

If your interested in making this style of card.; you can find a Youtube video tutorial for making this style card under my tutorial tab.

I didn't add a sentiment on this card. I really liked the collaged fall elements but you certainly could add one on the upper 1/3 of the card or if it is small stamp it on the white space of the oval die cut.

I hope you give this card a try. It's a nice surprise for the recipient to find in the mailbox.

Happy Fall and happy crafting!

Slimline pop up - fall bench

Happy fall and welcome to All Things Beautiful!

I made this card in a Karen Burniston class and thought I would share this style of card. I just love how she pulls different elements together to make a card. She is so creative.

The gnome holding the acorn is so cute! Taking her classes has really helped me to think outside the box when it comes to using my patterned papers.

The size of this card is a slimline.. The card base is then trimmed out to expose the sentiment card.
The bench pop is one of her die sets I haven't used in quite some time. It's time to rediscover my love of this die set and make a few more cards using it.

The pop up bench just adds a touch of surprise and that gnome holding the pie adds extra cuteness.

I hope you break out some supplies you haven't used in a while and rediscover the enjoyment of using them.

happy crafting!

Crafting with Paper Kits - Panel Sentiments

Hello and welcome to All Things Beautiful!

Today's card is working toward depleting my paper stash.

These papers came from an Echo Park paper kit.

The office embellishments are from a Karen Burniston die set.

I took a rounded panel corner die and trimmed the corners of the Note to You sentiment panel so that the beautiful floral background panel would show more.
Then made embellishments in coordinating colors and placed them around the sentiment panel.

Keeping it Simple - Love card

Hey there friends! Welcome to All Things Beautiful!

I hope your day is going well and you are finding some time to be creative.

Just a quick card I made for my daughter.
She loves her naps, especially curling up with her 2 cats.
I thought she would appreciate this sentiment.

I anchored the elements on a label die background and then added it to a pattern paper that reminded me of my grandmother's sheets

Clip board card - Hugs

Good Morning! I hope your week is going well.

Thank you for visiting.

Today I made a Clip board card. This is one of my favorite fun fold cards. If you'd like to see a  tutorial on the technique you can find one under my tutorial page.

I wanted to let the background be pretty simple so I used some stamps to stamp a random pattern on the plan cream cardstock.

I also made a version in pink

I then used a hugs die to cut part of the sentiment out a few times and glued them together in black cardstock to add some dimension and then stamped the rest of the sentiment.

Adding the floral embellishments and the butterfly to finish this card.

This is such a cute easy card style. Don't forget to check out the video tutorial on my tutorial tab.

Tri-fold Window card - Sending you hope

Good Morning! I hope your week is going well.

Thank you for visiting. Today I have a Surprise Window card or sometimes it is called a Tri-fold Window card - fun fold card for you. If you'd like to see a video tutorial on this technique you can find the one I followed to make this card under my tutorial tab.

I have 2 different tutorials for you to follow. Each is slightly different but both a great tutorials!

I thought I would use a tone on tone stamping technique for the background of the blue cardstock and colored pencils for the image inside the in window.

I like that this card style offers a place for a stamped image and then plenty of space for a handwritten message with the blank panel.

I hope you give this card a try. It's something different but doesn't require any special supplies.

Using My Scraps - Happy Hello

Good Morning! I hope you are well.

Thank you for visiting.

I have been trying to use more of my 6 x 6 paper pads.  With that goal in mind I began looking for various panel dies where I could use my scraps and create a nice card front panel. There are so many companies online that offer panel dies with different cut - out and shapes. I like that the work is done for me; I just have to choose the papers.

Today I kept this card simple and used lots of layers a sentiment panel from a card kit.
