Today I am showcasing a Flying Easel card.
This is my first attempt at making one of these types of cards. If you'd like to try this technique you can find the tutorial I used under my tutorial tab here.
I'm still keeping up with my 2018 crafting resolution of making matching envelopes, card fronts and card inside panels. So glad I have. I really like the way this card and envelope set turned out.
For the butterfly I cut the image from my Cricut. You can see all the supplies I used listed below. I then heat embossed the butterfly several times to give it a faux metal look and give it some weight to hang in the window area.
I added additional butterfly punch outs and some bling for balance and interest.
Here is the inside card panel. I punched the butterfly from some scrap card stock and used it as a stencil.
