Bunch of Flowers

Hi There...this post will be short and sweet. I must get my Saturday chores done.

Today's card is showcasing a new stamp to me by Gina K called Thanks a Bunch.
My mother is an advid gardener so I thought using this stamp image for her card would be perfect.

I grabbed a sketch from Mojo Monday, used some scraps from the 6x6 MME paper pad Dolled Up, and the three embellishments on the bottom are from K & Co.

These are the copics I used to color the image

and I added some glitter pen to the center

I hope you had fun viewing my card and take the time to leave a comment or two.  I love to reading your comments.

Using My Tools Thursday # 34-Owl Say Hello

Hello! Even though we have left the holiday season and are now enjoying the soon to be here summer weather I love the colors of fall and couldn't resist making one more fall themed or color scheme card just for nostalgia's sake. I decided to make this card a joy fold card. You can find a tutorial on how to make a Joy Fold card here. You can also find more tutorials on my tutorial tab here.

The card is a gate fold card. I used pattern paper from Authentique Collection:Thankful and Bazzill card stock as usual. The owl is cut from Create A Critter cartridge. I used a hero Arts Hello sentiment, a wooden button, some twine from the jewelry section and Leafy Branches Cuttlebug embossing folder
Inside the card is another owl.

I hope you had fun viewing my card and take the time to leave a comment or two. Tell me what you like best! I love to read your comments and I always reply. Enjoy your week and your upcoming holidays!

Tinsel Tuesday #2-Mails Here

Welcomes to my Tinsel Tuesday post. This is my attempt at making my Christmas cards early. So, every other Tuesday I'll be posting a Christmas card in hopes by December 1st I'll have a nice selection ready to be stuffed in envelopes and put in the mailbox.

Here's my card...
I used the challenge sketch from Christmas Challenges (with sketches) for inspiration and a cute stamped image from LOTV called Puppy Post
The background paper has a textured design. I chose a Stampin' Up greeting.
I paper pieced the mailbox and the puppy's ears, tail and spot on his back to add some interest.
The snow on top the mailbox is glitter up with glitter glue and I used a glitter pen to fill in the snowflakes throughout the image and a silver pen to fill in the metal parts of the mailbox. the card glimmers really nice in real life.

I hope you enjoyed my latest Christmas card and see you back in a couple of weeks!
Now go make something beautiful!
