Pop - Up Book Card - Using Ephemera

Hey There! Welcome to All Things Beautiful!

I hope your day is going well and you are finding some time to be creative.

Today's card is a Pop - Up Book card; you can find a tutorial for making this style card under my tutorial tab.

I tried to tackle another paper kit today and use the ephemera to decorate the card front and as the sentiment. I suppose I will mail this card as an encouragement card.

I find it challenging to collage different elements but I stuck with it until I found some configuration that was a little pleasing to the eye. I also used a 3D embossing folder on the patterned paper.

I don't use this technique often but I enjoyed how it came out so much that I am determined to use it more. How about you, do you like to use embossing folders on plain cardstock or on patterned paper?

I combines a sentiment stamp and a floral image together on one side of the book; allowing space for a hand written message on the other.

I am so glad you stopped by tof=day. Happy crafting!

Easel Card - Birthday tiered cake

Good morning friends! I hope your week is going well.

Thank you for visiting.

Today's card is a Easel fold card; you can find a tutorial for making this style of card under my tutorial tab.

Here is a close up of the textured embellishments. I love flowers on a cake so I couldn't resist making this card with lots of pretty flowers. I also added a little glossy accents to the flower centers for some shine.

I enjoyed making this card so much IO just had to make in a few different colors.

I hope you enjoyed my cards!

Have a great day! Happy crafting!

Big Hugs - Pop Up card

 Hello friends!

Thank you for stopping by to see my latest card post.

I am still trying to bust through my stash of scraps and I thought using this Lawn Fawn pop-up die would help me do that.

I tried to get creative and make a few different card fronts that would pair nicely with the pop - up sentiment inside.

I hope you have a great weekend!
Happy crafting!

Clean and Simple Card - Panel Card Thanks

 Hello friends!

I made a clean and simple card this week.  I am getting low on my "thank you" cards so I thought I would grab some paper scraps, this sentiment panel,  some punches and enamel dots. Quick and easy card!

Happy Crafting!

Best is Yet to come - Scrap Busting

Hey there friends! Welcome to All Things Beautiful!

I hope your day is going well and you are finding some time to be creative.

Don't know what to do with all those scrapbooking/cardmaking kits you receive in the mail? Sometimes, I don't either. lol

These papers come from an echo park kit. I truly love Echo Park paper. It's like kryptonite to me. lol I love the patterns, colors, and the heaviness of it. Such great quality paper! But, sometimes I don't know what to do with all the ephemera.

I decided to sit down today and try to use some paper scraps and embellishments that looked like they belonged together. I hope I accomplished that? What do you think?

The embellishments were made using Gina K Designs cardstock and a charm die set from Karen Burniston. I was inspired by the clip on the front of the sentiment card. I thought this might make a nice encouragement card for a friend of family member. Luckily I was able to make two!

I hope the new year finds you well.
Until next time, happy crafting!

 Happy 2025!

I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and thank you for stopping by!

I'm tackling my 2025 paper crafting goal with today's card.

I pulled out an embossing folder, some paper scrap strips, some embellishments from my stash and this echo park sentiment panel card.

Embossing folders used to be so popular back in the day. I think they are a card makers gateway craft. I remember the awe when I saw a plan piece of paper transformed into a textured pattern. But, I tend to forget about them for newer, flashier techniques.

For this card, I grabbed an oval die from a Gina K Designs Master Layout dies set to cut the nice shape around the sentiment and add the scalloped background layer, then added a few paper flowers I had left over from other projects (spellbinder dies). Today's card was truly a stash busting project!

Do you stash bust your crafting supplies on occasion?  Let me know in the comments.

Happy friday and Happy crafting!
