Birthday Bees - Using paper Scraps

Happy Friday! I hope your doing well. 

Setting my crafty goals for 2025 and my plan is to completely use up some 6 x 6 paper pads that only have a few pages left and/or paper scraps and to use some dies or stamp sets that I purchased in the past and haven not crafted with yet.

Today's card uses a dies set from Lawn Fawn and I was able to dive into my scrap pile for this one. I feel so accomplished when I use scrap paper instead of cutting into a new 12 x 12 or 6 x 6 piece. Do you?

Fun Fold - Double Fun Flap Fold

 Hey there friends! Welcome to All Things Beautiful!

 I hope your day is going well and you are finding some time to be creative.

Today's card is another  card. 

If you haven't tried this Double Fun Flap Fold fold card yet and would like to; you can find a tutorial for making this style card under my tutorial tab.

I thought this might make a nice thank you card for receiving Christmas gifts. You could also use this to tuck a gift card inside the front flap.

This card has a typical card panel so you

can write your greetings inside.

Christmas Card - Using Panel Dies

 Good Morning! I hope your week is going well and you are ready for the Holidays!

I needed a quick Christmas card so I pulled out some panel dies and some patterned scrap paper to create this card. 

The Sentiment is from Close to My Heart and the Die set is from Reverse Confetti.

I love simple cards like this one. It's unique and quick to make.

Wish Big - Truckin'

Todays' card is a simple one and can be given anyone. I chose to use a birthday sentiment but you could always use a holiday one as well. 

This card uses a dies set from Spellbinders. I love cards where you can make multiples quickly and that's what I did with this one.

Fun Flip Card = Birthday Balloons

 Hello and welcome to All Things Beautiful!

Today 's card showcases a fun technique. This card features a Fun Flip card. 

For this card I used an old Sizzex die set (sorry, I think they are discontinued but you may be able to find a used set online).  I have made this style of card by hand in the past and the tutorial I used for that technique can be found under my tutorial tab.

I wrote my birthday wishes on the back of the center panel.

Masculine Card - Here's to You!

I made a simple layered card this week.  I am getting low on my "just because" or "thinking of you" type cards so I thought I would grab a stamp set I haven't used in a long time try my hand at making some masculine cards.

Fall Surprise Pop- Up and Pull Out card

Today's card is a Surprise Pop- Up and Pull Out card; you can find a tutorial for making this style card under my tutorial tab. I list the tutorials in alphabetical order so scroll a bit to "S".

I enjoyed making this card! It was fun using up my paper cardstock scraps to cut out all the little fall elements. I used dies by Karen Burniston.

The patterned paper is by Echo Park, and the oval and rectangle white mats are by Gina K Designs. She has some really nice stitched die sets.

Friendship is Coffee Card

I have been trying to use more of my 6 x 6 paper pads. Today I kept this card simple and used lots of layers.  

The background paper was cut using a deckled label die and then I used a label die to ground the sentiment and image. The coffee cup embellishment was cut using Gina K Design cardstock and a charm die from Karen Burniston. 

It was nice using up some of my older 6 x 6 paper pads but being able to keep the same design. All the cards look slightly different just by changing up the background paper.

Fall Pop - Up Book Card

Today I made a Pop-Up Book card. This is one of my favorite fun fold cards. If you'd like to see a  tutorial on the technique you can find one under my tutorial page.

I have been trying to use more of my Echo Park paper so I'll be making cards for the next few weeks using up some of my  kits. For this card, I used one of the Echo Park ephemera cards from the kit.

Tri-fold Window card - Hope

Today's card is another Tri-fold window card. 

If you haven't tried this fun fold card yet and would like to ;you can find a tutorial for making this style card under my tutorial tab.

For today's card I used a stencil to apply a tone on tone background on the cardstock.  I then cut a few of the letters for the word Hope and glued them together for dimension and added a stamped sentiment to coordinate with it. 

I cut out a black window frame using to different sizes of square dies so that it would frame the flower stamped imaged; colored with colored pencils.

Using your scraps - encouragement card

Today I have another card made using my scraps from an Echo Park kit

The striped background is a journaling card from the kits. I then took some small scraps and my punches and cut out some hearts, circle and banner. I added glossy accents to the hearts to give the embellishment some dimension and shine. The sentiment panel comes from the ephemera pack in the kit.
