Welcome to my little space on the blog sphere. I'm so happy your visiting today! The post for today is featuring a fabulous image by Lacy Sunshine called Keiko City Girl. Over at the 613 Avenue Create Challenge Blog the theme is. This weeks challenge is to use something metal on your project.
Here's mine:
I cut a tag from the patterned paper by tracing a plain Martha Stewart tag onto the back of the patterned paper and then just bordered it with the card stock. I added some pearl pen to the swirl in the pattern just to add some bling.
The butterflies were leftovers from another project I did a month or so ago. You can see that post here and I accentuated the white flowers on her dress by tracing over the design with a white gel pen.

OK Amy - you made my morning! I learned two things in your opening paragraph! NEVER occurred to me to cut the DP in the tag shape first and then mat it on CS - sheesh! So much easier than trying to cut DP to fit on a tag! And that bit about adding bling to the DP by tracing the swirls ... lightbulb moment. Isn't that a crack up when you have been doing something so long it never occurs there is an easier way!
ReplyDeleteAnd BTW, I LOVE this tag... a beautiful result, as is your coloring {as always!}.
