Here's what I consider my most favorite 10 cards. I began my first blog in 2012 and I still consider myself a blog newbie. I chose my top 10 for OWH and just had to add a few more surprises at the end! I hope you enjoy my top 10 and I would love to have you subscribe to my blog!
Each title has a link back to the original blog post.
This was one of my first cut outs using this cartridge. It was a Christmas present and I just love how it turned out using the sunburst technique.
I wanted to use punches and embellishments for this bonus sketch. My blog was still new so I hadn't begun to post the sketches along with the cards
I used a bonus card sketch for this one too. This was one of my first experiences using Copic markers.
I just absolutely love the variations in paper patterns, texture and embellishments of this card
Sometimes things just come together so well and thankfully this card did.
I really liked the sweetness of the stamped image on this card.
Boy did I struggle with this sketch....
I used a new technique with this card. Gesso.
A kids card..so cute!
That's my 10!...But....
I don't only card make, I scrapbook, cake decorate and do a little sewing. I am trying to learn crochet and decided it should be another crafty skill for skill set however.. I'm stuck at just getting the yard unwound and into a ball. lol
This was so much fun that I just had to show you a few more more.....These aren't OWH cards but they are ones I had so much fun making.
First card using my sewing machine! So proud!
Ok, so this card didn't go to OWH BUT..I really like how this one came out. I started playing with different cutouts using my Cricut on a very tiny scale. Most of the cutouts are 1 to 1 1/4 inches. I really had fun mixing and matching the papers and embossing textures too!
One of these cards went to my sister and the other to OWH.
I made this layout of my son and step daughter. I try to post a few layouts here and there as I go so please take a look around my blog and be inspired!
Sugar paste poinsettia for a Christmas Cake I made as a gift. See the completed simple and clean cake from link above.
This was a gift to my daughter's 3rd grade teacher. I had my daughter write an acrostic poem using the teachers name. She came up with some sweet descriptions for her teacher. I hope you'll be able to see it when you click on the picture in the original post.
All fantastic projects! Look forward to seeing what you make in the new year!
