Spring Pocket Letter

Hello and welcome! I am so excited you are here for my Whatever Wednesday post where share my latest crafting shenanigans with you.

Today I am sharing my first  Pocket Letter creation. If you haven't heard of Pocket Letters...oh...you are missing out! It is a fancy pen pal letter. Basically a pen pal letter taken up a notch for paper crafters. You can choose themes and you even fill them with crafting goodies for your pen pal.

For my pocket letter, my swap sistah and I choose to make a "Spring" theme. That way we had lots of flexibility. I choose some cheery papers and went to work. I added a scripture and a book quote in relation to the theme.  The left pocket letter is the front of my pocket letter with all the decorated cards. I used the Cricut machine, stickers, stamps and punches for the elements. The pocket letter on the right is the back view. That's where I added all the great goodies!
I made some card candy embellishments using the scraps from my pocket letter, added stamped images, gems, stickers, tea and a great butterfly embellishment I found at the $ store.

Here is a close up of the card candy embellishments I made.

In the upper right hand corner you will see my pen pal letter envelope. I wrote my pen pal a brief letter telling her a little about myself.

To find out more about Pocket Letters you can find them on Pinterest, Youtube and the Pocket Letter Pals website
