UMT-Summer Bear Shaker Card

Welcome to my latest Using My Tools Thursday post. Today's tool that has been neglected but yet has been put to good use for today's project is this fun border punch from Martha Stewart. When I began crafting almost 4 years ago I absolutely fell in love with Martha's punch around the page punch sets. I couldn't buy them up fast enough BUT in the last year or so they have, for the most part, gone unused. What a shame I thought, and so I sat down to create a fun kids card using this punch.

I used acetate purchased from Wal-mart and an imaged that i had already colored in by Lili of the Valley stamps.
To complete the shaker i added some small seed beads, sequins and some star shapes sequins for added interest.

Supplies
Quite Contrary Jack and Jill 6x6 Paper pad
Lili of The Valley Deck Chair Dreaming Stamp
Copic Markers
Martha Stewart Border punch Ribbon Loops
Recollections Enamel Dots

If you've never made a shaker card you can find a tutorial under my tutorial tab and several other inspiration examples.
I hope you are inspired to try a shaker card for yourself and take time today to make something beautiful!
