This is a quick post in honor of the July 4th holiday tomorrow. I thought I would show you some ANY Hero cards I made to send to Operation Write Home That means I'll be writing a little thank you note inside thanking the overseas soldiers for the sacrifices they make so that I can enjoy all the wonderful things I enjoy here in the U.S. You can find more about Operation Write Home here.
For these cards I used embossed the background and then dragged my ink pad over the top.
The stamped images are from My Favorite Things and then I colored them in with Copic Markers.

Lovely cards! The idea of dragging the ink pad over the embossed image is one I'll have to try. Have a Happy 4th of July to you and yours.
ReplyDeleteGreat cards, and love your technique! I've tried inking over an embossed surface, with mixed results. You did a wonderful job with that! Tfs!
