On to the the good stuff!
I have 2 projects to share with you.  I am entering thse 2 projects into a few challenges. Bitten By The Bug and Creative Belli Blog CBC180 are looking for a project using leaves, I am using the card sketch from My Favorite Things and Pennys Paper Crafty Challenge Blog has anything goes except square this week. Check out their challenges for more fun.

Here's the sketch that inspired thie above card. There's just one problem...no sentiment. Let me know in the comment section below what sentiment you think would work best with this card.

Here's a close up of the cricut cut leaves and acorns. I used Create A Critter for the acorns and embossed them with Swiss dots embossing folder and the leaves were cut and layered using Cricut Disney-Princesses Dreams Come True

This layout uses leaves also. I actually cut all the leaves out for this layout and didn't use them all so I had leftovers for the card.
This is where my husband asked me to marry him. The photo was taken in NH last fall. I had injured my back so I was wearnig a back brace. Thankfully, I've since lost the back brace and the extra pounds I gained while waiting for my back to heal. :-) I used thicker alpha stickers for the title and a Word text box for the journaling.

Don't forget to follow me so I can give you a shout out and link your blog on my Feature Friday post and please leave a comment letting me know which project you like most and what sentiment I should add to the card.

I hope you are inspired by this card and layout and go make something beautiful!

  1. What an awesome card! So well-made and adorable! Which cart did you use for the leaves? (I want to cut them!) The sentiment should be a simple "hi" :) Thanks for joining the BBTB2 challenge!
