Alternate Joy Fold Card

 Happy Friday friends!

I hope your week is going well and you are having a happy holiday season.

Thank you for visiting!

Today's card is a Joy fold variation; you can find a tutorial for making a Joy fold card under my tutorial tab.

I used a variety of pattern papers and cardstock to create the layers

Grabbed a few smaller stamps to stamp randomly to create a sort of patterned paper look using a few neutral colors; greys, browns and navy blue.

Then cut out the celebrate sentiment using a metal die and layered several together to create some dimension.

I hope you give the technique of stamping your smaller stamped images to create your own patterned paper a try!

Happy Crafting!

Floral Sympathy Card

Hello friends!

For the second half 2026 I wanted to go through my craft stash and finish up some left over projects. I colored this floral bouquet way too long ago and wanted to finally get it on a card.

I thought the soft colors on the floral was deserving of a sympathy card

I wanted to keep the background subtle so the floral arrangement could take center stage so i thought using a book page type with greyish blue hues would work nicely.

I hope this encourages you to finish up half made projects in your crafty collection.

Happy Crafting!

Birthday Candle Mini-slimline card

Good Morning! Happy Friday! I hope your week is going well.

Thank you for stopping by.

Today I wanted to make a quick birthday card but still wanted the card to have some pop.

I used the mini- slime-line dies from Gina K Designs Master Layout 7 to cut out the card panels and sentiment circles

I then stamped and cut some candles dies. The dies I had made shorter candles so I cut them in half and hid them behind the sentiment making them look longer to fit my slimline space.

I used all inks and paper from Gina K Designs.

Adding Texture to Card Backgrounds

 Hello Beauties!

Thank you for stopping by today.

Went through my stash if metal craft dies to create this card. I grab a die I haven't used in a long while to create this textured faux embossed raised background.

I thought the feather background would be perfect for this colored image. I used alcohol markers to color the stamped image in.

I hope you enjoyed this card and try making some backgrounds using craft dies you have in your stash. Happy crafting!

Creating a scene using die cuts

Hello friends!

I hope you are having a wonderful week so far!

I was in the mood for paper Hello friends!  today. This card has 48 pieces that had to be cut and assembled  together to create this scene.

Although this is time consuming to cut out all those small pieces; I do enjoy the final product. I try to make multiples when I make a card project like this since the planning can take awhile. I figured why not have at least 3+ of the same card if I am going to spend a lot of time designing the scene.

I do enjoy the process of placing each element around the card front until I find the perfect place for each one.

I hope you enjoyed viewing my card. Have a great weekend and happy crafting!

Slime - line Card - Happy Birthday

Hey There! Welcome to All Things Beautiful!

I hope your day is going well and you are finding some time to be creative.

I made a Slimline card this week. I thought I would take out my scan and cut machine and try cutting out this stamped floral image.

Depending on the stamp the machine doesn't always cut out a clean silhouette of the image. So I was happy to see that this one worked great.

I added a quarter inch border around the stamped image, cut out another blank one to glue behind it so it would pop off the page a bit.

I hope you enjoyed my card and find time to get creative today! Happy crafting!

Just a note card - using layers & texture

Good Morning! I hope your week is going well and you are ready for the summer!

I needed a quick non-sentiment card so I pulled out some panel dies and some patterned scrap paper to create this card.

The umbrella and sentiment dies are from Concord & 9th

I added lots of dimension with the use of an embossing folder for the background and then adding lots of layering of the florals, and decorative elements.

Happy Crafting!

Crashin' my Stash - Summer Strawberries

Good Morning! I hope you are well.

Thank you for visiting.

Today's card uses an old die I had in my stash. One for a mason jar. Do you remember when mason jars were all the rage in paper crafting! Let's be honest, have mason jars ever been out of style?

I thought filling them with some little strawberries would be a nice summer touch.

Add some flowers to surround it and draw to help the eye flow over the whole card.

I hope you enjoyed my card!

Busting your stash - hexagon pattern

Happy Friday! I hope your doing well.

Setting my crafty goals for 2026 and my plan is to completely use up some 6 x 6 paper pads that only have a few pages left and/or paper scraps and to use some dies or stamp sets that I purchased in the past and haven not crafted with yet.

Do you have any crafty goals for 2026? Comment below to share them!

I used some hexagon nesting dies to cut out the small hexagons out of patterned paper and then next size up for the black background.

Happy crafting!

Stash busting - Strawberry Basket

Hello and welcome to All Things Beautiful!

I am still working on my crafty goal for 2026 to use up 6 x 6 patterned paper and cardstock scraps.

Today's card does both.

When I saw this background paper all I could think of was summer strawberries.

I ha love fresh strawberries so I thought it would be fun to craft a basket of them today.

I was able to make a few of these cards and I can't wait to mail them out. I think these cards will brighten someone's day! What do you think?

The patterned paper is from Echo Park and the die set is from Lawn Fawn. I used Gina K Designs cardstock.

I hope you enjoyed my card and find some time today to be creative.

Simple layered card - Bright light

Hi There Friends!

Just a quick and simple layered card today!

I grabbed some scrap patterned paper, anchored the sentiment on a white panel die cut piece of cardstock.

Then took some black ink, to add my sentiment and an image; a simple gel pen adds some coordinating color and some sequins for dimension finishes this card off.

Some days we just want simple. lol

Shaker Card - Popsicle

Good Morning! I hope your week is going well.

 Welcome to All Things Beautiful!

Today's card features a fun shaker card!

I chose to use a patterned panel background and fill it with some various scraps from my stash. It took some time to cut the sections out but I think the little extra effort was worth it and it came together nicely!

This popsicle die i found on Amazon for just a few dollars. I layered the popsicle window at least 4 layers thick to create a nice pocket to hold the sequins and then adhered clear plastic to the front and back.

Happy crafting!

Creating Dimension - Bird House #2

Happy Friday! I hope your doing well.

I really enjoyed making last weeks card so I grabed more colored cardstock and made another birdhouse. This one I used ink to tint the roof. These dies are from Spellbinders. They are an older set so I am not sure if they are still available.

I just love the texture and the colors are so cheery; just in time for spring!
I used a stencil to add the dots on the eggs but you could add them with just the tip of a marker and some light verses heavy pressure.

Good Morning! I hope you are well.

Thank you for visiting.

For today's card I created some nice texture and dimension
I was in the mood to cut up some of my cardstock scraps and thought making a big stash of florals might come in handy

I thought decorating this birdhouse might be nice. What do you think of my card?

Pop - up - Coffee Card

 Hello friends!

Welcome to All Things Beautiful!

Today 's card showcases a fun technique. This card features a po-up card.

I used a die set from Karen Burniston today for this card.

I like that the die set has all the elements and does the thinking for me so I don't have to figure out the dimensions.

I hope you check out other cards made with this set. The samples online are really cool!

Using my Stash - Hexagon Punches

Hey there friends! Welcome to All Things Beautiful!

I hope your day is going well and you are finding some time to be creative.

Today's card is another card using my scraps.

Today I pulled out a hexagon punch and cut up the rest of the scraps from this paper pad. I was able to make 3 of these cards with my stash and finish off the paper stack.

Added a sentiment panel from the kit and some clear sequins and they are done. Quick and easy yet still a nice card to look at.

St. Patrick's Day - Gold Clover

 Hello friends!

Thank you for stopping by to see my latest card post.

This year's St. Patrick's Day card is someone clean and simple.  I chose to use a large oval die with patterned paper and cut out a few 4 leaf clovers in gold cardstock, add a sentiment and call it a day.

I hope you like the simple design.

I used a St. Patrick's Day 6x6 paper pad by Echo Park for the different backgrounds and just repeated the same layout and design.

Happy St. Patrick's Day and Happy crafting!
